Vacation In Panama

I just came back from my vacation in Panama. I really don't know what to blog about so I figured why not some boring memos on my trip to Panama? Anyways this is going to be short because it's mainly like a journal that I am going to use this blog.

Two weeks ago my wife and I decided to go to Panama on vacation. We really wanted to go on those canopy rides. You climb up a tree way up to this platform and grab on to this cable that is strung between trees and glide! It's crazy so we wanted to do that.

The other thing we wanted to do was see the panama canal. We looked around online at the various panama canal tours and found one that looked good. We called and scheduled everything with the tour company and made plans to go immediately. We booked a flight and left on wednesday.

Upon arriving in Panama the tour guide company met us at the airport and handled mostly everything. Really good tour company. We went to the hotel and unpacked and went out to eat supper. I'm not big on foreign food but I like latin cooking so Panama was a real treat for me as far as that goes. Julie loves trying all kinds of new food so she absolutely loved dining out in panama city.

We went and did the canopy thing which was a really cool rush to say the least. Then we went to the san blas islands and did some sailing. Each day was a full day. I was pretty tired going back to the hotel room.

Finally at the end we went and did the panama canal tour. I always wanted to see that and now I have. It's truly amazing and probably should be among the seven wonders of the world. Thing about it, are any of the seven wonders cooler than the panama canal? The canal is definitely worth seeing. It's world famous and cool to be able to say you've been there and seen that.

I could have stayed longer for sure but vacation does come to an end unfortunately. The party is over.

Hey all, I'm Dave Dubee and I'm finally starting to blog. Now I just need a topic! I have many hobbies so I'm not really sure what to write about first. Blogging is still brand new to me, in fact this is my first blog. I am in to a number of hobbies as I don't like to just sit around and watch the boob tube. I don't really dig watching endless sports games ie football, soccer, baseball or basketball. I just really don't find it interesting. I am more into chess and things that require thinking and challenge. I enjoy mentally stimulting myself. I like to read alot and some of my favorite subjects include philosophy, politics, chess, religion and things like that. So I will be talking about all kinds of things on this blog. Everything but trendy commercial crap like american idol and things like that. Please feel free to write a comment below and I welcome anyone and everyone to my personal space here. I look forward to some stimulating conversation and I must warn you, I love to argue. But it's not my fault that I'm always right about everything.
